David M. Kamp, 39, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, June 4th, in Virginia while away at work.

David was born in Pottsville, on July 4, 1977, a son of Patricia A. (Sanza) and Irvin M. Kamp, of Schuylkill Haven.

He was the husband of Paula A. (Miller) Kamp. They married May 29th, 2011. He was a 1995 Graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. David received his Bachelors degree in Telecommunications from Kutztown University.

He worked as a Tamper Operator & Equipment Mechanic at G.W. Peoples Contracting Company, Carnegie, PA.

David was actively involved in Dirt Track Racing, Hunting, Fishing and  Camping. He was a member of Zion’s Red Church, Orwigsburg and the Rainbow Hose Company, Schuylkill Haven.

In addition to his parents, and Loving wife Paula, of 6 years, David is survived by his sister, Gloria Donatti, wife of Michael of Schuylkill Haven;

Mother-in-law Jean Miller, widow of Clyde (Mike), Brother-in-Law Jason J. Miller, husband of Tawny, Godson Dominick Somers, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Cat Princess & Cat Callie, which he rescued from a job site while on the railroad. David was preceded by his dog Bunker. He was loved by so many friends and  he considered them to be his family.

A Celebration of David’s Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday evening, June 9th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.

Friends are invited to call from 4:00 PM until time of service.

Interment will be at convenience of the Family in Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
