Irene S. Spotts, 90, of Bohrmans Mill, Schuylkill Haven, passed away peacefully Monday at Orwigsburg Center-Genesis Healthcare, Orwigsburg.

Born in North Manheim Township, March 10, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Alice Shoener Bohrman.

She was the widow of Carl R. Spotts.

Irene was raised in the Protestant faith and attended Bohrman's One-Room Schoolhouse. She was employed as an machine operator at the Landingville Mill.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bohrman; and a sister, Helen "Honey" Bohrman.

Surviving are two nephews, James R. Bohrman, husband of Roberta, and Harry R. Bohrman, husband of Barbara, and a niece, Lynette B., wife of James Bohrman Jr., all of Schuylkill Haven.

Religious services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. A calling hour will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Orwigsburg. For those caring to, Irene's wishes were that contributions in her name be sent to Hillside SPCA, P.O.
