James William Imschweiler, 81, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, February 5th, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
James was born in Tremont, on February 13, 1936, a son of the late Ruth (Gilger) and Durwood Imschweiler.
James was the widower of Rosemary G. (Brown) Imschweiler.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven, and was a 1953 Graduate of Minersville High School. He was also a 4th degree knight of Columbus.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman.
James owned & operated his own Independent Erie Insurance Agency in both New Tripoli & Kutztown. He retired in 2014.
James is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Imschweiler, Two sons Dale, husband of Anne Imschweiler and David Imschweiler, Fiancé of Stacey Lechleitner.
Grandchildren Tanya, Matthew, husband of Lauren; Ryan, Brandon, Kyle, husband of Nicole. Kerri, wife of Dan, and Nadia.
Great Grandchildren Kyla, Mackenzie and Dylan.
He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded by a son James William Imschweiler, Sister Mary Louise Kenna and his brother Durward Imschweiler.
An evening viewing will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday February 14th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday February 15th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville.
