THOMAS J. GOOS, 55, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away

Wednesday, July 29, after years of battling health issues, at his

residence. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., on September 16, 1959, son of Wilma V.

(Flunkert ) Goos, of Dallas, PA and the late Karl F. Goos. He was the husband

of Eileen M. (Smolsky ) Goos. They were married on November 5, 1988. Tom

attended Valley Forge Military Academy, went on to Leysin American School in

Switzerland and then graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 1977. He

graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors degree in Business. He also earned

his pilots license. He was the owner and operator of European Auto Sales,

Pottsville, for 25 years. He currently owned Enterprise Holding Company out of

his Orwigsburg office. He was a skilled German craftsman, master gardener,

avid fisherman, loving husband and father. He loved surf fishing in Dewey Beach,

DE. In addition to his mother Wilma and wife, of 26 years, Eileen, Tom is also

survived by a daughter, Ellen A. Goos , of Bradford, PA; two sons Jonathan

D., husband of Paige E. Goos, of Ephrata, PA; David M. Goos, of Orwigsburg, PA;

two sisters, Yvonne W. Faust, Companion of Joe Rostock, of Larksville, PA;

Monica R., wife of John Barnhardt, of Hot Springs, AR., his mother-in-law Ann

Smolsky, numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends. A Funeral

service will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, PA, on Wednesday

at 11a.m. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 9 until time of services

at 11:00. at Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorial

contributions may be made to Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited, PO Box 1385,

Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment private at convenience of the

Family.
