William F. Clark, 68, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, February 23rd, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA
William was born in Pottsville, PA on November 10, 1948, a son of the late Rita (Eagan) and John L. Clark.
He was the widower of Marilyn J. (Sheriff) Clark.
He was raised in the Catholic Faith and worked in Law Enforcement as a police officer for over 30 years. He also served as Deputy Coroner for Schuylkill County. He served in the U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War. Earning Medals for National Defense Service, Vietnam Campaign, and Vietnam Service William was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon & Rifle Marksmanship Badge.
William is survived by two daughters, Michele A. Clark, Companion of William R. Hessler and Audra M. Clark, Companion of David P. Schweikert. Granddaughter Megan V. Clark, Companion of Justin J. Burke, Great Grandson Leo W. Burke. Three sisters, Maureen Adams, Patricia Helterbran, Kathleen Reber. A brother, Gerald Clark.
He was preceded in death by brothers John, Joseph and Daniel Clark and 2 sisters Germaine Schuettler and Maryann Clark
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 AM until Noon, on Saturday, March 4th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA. Military Honors will be held at 12:00.
