Charles Miller Baker, 85, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away Monday, February 19th, at Seton Manor Inc, Orwigsburg
Charles was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1932, a son of the late Orabelle (Miller) and John Baker.
He was the husband of Mildred (Shanely) Baker. They were married on January 9, 1965.
He graduated from Allentown High School in 1951 and attended Moravian Prep from 1949 to 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy and was President of the Triburner Inc. A company that manufactured a coal stoker of his own invention, which he ran with his friend and business partner Larry Corindi.
In addition to his wife Mildred, of 53 years, Charles is survived by two sons Joseph Baker, of Schuylkill Haven and Peter Baker of Herndon, VA, a sister, Dolly Hege, granddaughter Daniela Baker as well as nieces and nephews whom he was very fond of.
He is predeceased by a sister Ginny and a brother Robert Baker.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 Am until 11:00 Am at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Orwigsburg. Interment will follow in Salem Evangelical Cemetery.
