Eva M. (Zettlemoyer) Bachert

 Eva M.  Bachert, 80, of Auburn, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 23rd, at her residence, with her loving family at her side.

Eva was born in West Brunswick, on September 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Eva M.  (Strausser) and Benjamin   Zettlemoyer.

She was the wife of Raymond F. Bachert. They would have been  married 60 years in August.

She was a member of Kimmels Evangelical Free Church in Orwigsburg and enjoyed being a Homemaker, gardening and was very devoted to her family. Eva was a wonderful baker and cook winning many ribbons at the County Fair.

In addition to her husband, Raymond, of 59 years, Eva is survived by Two daughters, Connie Kodash, companion of Glenn Spraut; Cindy Krammes, wife of Marty.

Two Granddaughters Ashley Ziegler and Nicole Lorish.

Great Grandchildren   Alexa Ziegler, Talon Zimmerman; Brayden, Kinsley, Emersyn & Adalynn Lorish. Eva was very proud of her granddaughters and great grandchildren. Eva is also survived by Sisters, Iva Rivera; Catherine Koch & Shirley Ogan. Two Brothers Harold and Henry Zettlemoyer, nieces & nephews and her dog Jojo.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters   Marion Strausser, Helen Zettlemoyer & Dorothy Zettlemoyer and two brothers Benjamin & Stanley Zettlemoyer.

A Religious Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 26th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA  with John Ziegler, SALM officiating. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA PO Box 332 Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Interment Services will be held at Zion's Red Church Cemetery Association Orwigsburg, PA.
