Irene Kelly Usalis

Irene E. Usalis, 91, of Shenandoah, passed away Saturday, March 10th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Irene was born in Shenandoah, on January 30, 1927. She was the widow of Anthony William Usalis, known as "Tonky."

She was a graduate of J.W. Cooper High School and a member of Annunciation BVM Catholic Church. She was employed by J.J. Newberry prior to her retirement. She volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center and was a West Mahanoy Township Government Poll Worker.

In addition to her parents James and Hannah (Miles) Kelly, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony W. Usalis, son Anthony W. Usalis Jr, and daughter, Irene Stetson.

Irene is survived by her son Paul A. Usalis, husband of Angela, of Schuylkill Haven.

Irene is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Anthony W. Usalis III, husband of Ashley, Jackson, NC. Hillary (Usalis) O'Keefe, wife of William, Yardley, PA. Alyssa L.(Usalis) Cunningham, wife of Tyler, Audubon, NJ. Dr Dawn-Marie (Stetson) Gross, wife of Brian, Frackville, PA. John M. Stetson, Peter Stetson, husband of Nikki, Barnsville, PA, and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends and Family are invited to attend viewing at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 116 S. Liberty St, Orwigsburg, PA on Friday, March 16th at Noon. A Religious Service will be held at 1:00 PM.

Interment private at convenience of Family.
