Marion P. Foose, 91, of Orwigsburg, went to be with her lord and savior Saturday, April 28th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Allentown. Marion was born in Orwigsburg, on July 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Sadie (DeLong) and Paul Heiser.
She was the widow of George G. Foose. They were married for 60 years before he passed on November 19, 2005
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. She was an Orwigsburg High School Graduate, Class of 1944. Marion earned her LPN Degree, from Pottsville School of Nursing, after raising her children and she was in the 1st graduating class.
She was employed by the Pottsville Hospital & Rest Haven Nursing Home and worked doing Home Care. Marion volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Blue Mountain School Library. She was a past member of the Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens.

Three sons James Foose, husband of Georgeanne; William Foose, husband of Debra and Thomas Foose, husband of Debra.
Two sisters, Betty Sadusky, wife of Benjamin and Mary Kutz, wife of John.
She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren & 30 great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews.
In addition to her husband George, who she missed dearly, she was preceded in death by her son George R. Foose, Grandson Kenneth D Weaver, Daughter-in-law Suanne R. (Richards) Foose, Brother Paul Heiser and Sister Joan Moyer.
A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 4th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Ted Rathman officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, May 3rd at the funeral home, and also on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Attn: Tribute Program 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
Interment at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Orwigsburg.
