Robert F. (Bob) Krause, Sr., 75, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, June 1st, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.

Bob was born in West Hazleton,on May 23, 1942, a son of the late Evelyn (Miller) and Karl Krause.

He was the husband of Lois A. Krause. They were married on June 26th, 1965.

Bob attended Tamaqua High School and was a member of Christ Church Mc Keansburg. He was actively involved in the church as Past President of Consistory & Deacon. He worked for Glen Gery, Corporation, Shoemakersville, for 35 years, retiring in 2007.

Bob was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors

In addition to his wife Lois, of 51 years, Bob is survived by a daughter, Karen L. Welgo, Companion of Paul Lysek, of Schuylkill Haven, PA;

Three sons Kevin A. Krause, of Hazelton; Robert F. Krause, Jr., husband of  Beth, of Orwigsburg; Kyle E. Krause, husband of  Erin, of Orwigsburg; a sister, Ruth Smythe, of Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Grandchildren Holly, wife of Josh Watson, Brook Knepper, Corey, Madelyn, Gabrielle & Ryan Krause. Great Grandchildren Charlotte, Piper & Catalina. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Krause.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 7 at Christ Church Mc Keansburg with Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating.

Friends are invited to call from 9:00 AM until time of service, in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church Mckeansburg, 6 South Race Street, Mckeansburg, PA 17960.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
