Alberta Amanda (Bertie) Weiser, 94, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Campbell Apartments, Warren Street, passed away at 11:47 PM, Sunday, February 18th, at Orwigsburg Center - Genesis Healthcare . Alberta was born in West Brunswick Township, PA on March 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Anna (Koch) and Fred Weiser. She was a member of Congregational Free Church of Christ, Orwigsburg, PA 17961. and a graduate of Orwigsburg High School, class of 1941. She worked as a floor supervisor at Argo Knitting Mill Orwigsburg before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is also survived by Sister-in-law Herta J. Weiser, niece Evelyn Johns, nephew David Weiser, great nephew John T. Minchhoff and his wife Robin, great great nephews Christopher Weiser , Dylan, Evan and Jordan Minchhoff. Memorial Service will be held Friday Evening march 2nd at 6:00 PM at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg with Rev. Jeffrey C. Stonesifer officiating. Calling hours will be from 4:30 until time of service at the funeral home.
