Alice M. Moyer, 92, of 1000 Seton Drive, Orwigsburg, entered into God's care Saturday at Seton Manor Inc.

Formerly of Lehigh Avenue., Orwigsburg, and Luther Ridge, Pottsville, since 2008.

Alice was born in Orwigsburg, Nov. 3, 1920, a daughter of the late Edward H. and Bessie A. Schappell Moyer.

She was employed as a folder and then became a supervisor at Former Sylray Underwear Co., Orwigsburg for 44 Years, retiring in 1982.

She was an Orwigsburg, High School graduate, Class 1938, and she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Orwigsburg.

Surviving are a great-niece, Cindy Wade; great-nephews, Mark and Rick Putlock; and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a half-sister, Bertha Shoener Putlock; her nephew, Charles E. Putlock Sr., in 2008; and two great-nieces, Linda Susan Putlock (infant of 3 months) and Carol Ann Schutter, in 1991; and a great-nephew, Charles E. Putlock Jr., in 1993.

Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at 10 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. Religious service will be held at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph J. Scholtes Jr. officiating. Interment services will be held in Christ Union Cemetery, McKeansburg.The family would greatly appreciate if contributions would be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church memorial fund in Alice's name 215 N.
