ARTHUR  O.  BENSINGER , 88, of Orwigsburg, PA, died, Sunday, May 15th, peacefully, at Seton Manor Inc..

Born in West Brunswick, Pa. on December 3, 1927, a son of the late Emma  (Miller ) and Furman  A.  Bensinger .

He was the husband of Janet  L.  (Gruver ) Bensinger . They were married on February 17th, 1951.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Orwigsburg and a Graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1945

Arthur was employed as  a  machinist at the  former  Allen Sherman Hoff  Pump Co.  Hamburg, PA and he  was also a dairy  farmer.

In Addition to his wife Janet, of 65 years, Arthur  is  also survived by

five daughters, Kathleen M. Huntzinger, companion of Glen Berkheiser

Cynthia  L. , wife of  George W. Henry ,

Judith  A. , wife of  Brian R. Schaffer

Cheryl  K., wife of  Wallace P. (Wally)  Kimmel

Elaine  M., wife of  Thomas J.  Stephens

a son, David  A. Bensinger ,

two sisters, Mildred  A. , widow of  Robert C Krammes & Irene  M. , widow of  Nevin G. Kauffman .

He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, Corey W. Huntzinger, Colleen M. (Huntzinger) Baer, wife of Jared, George W. Henry III, Husband of Kim, Scott A. Henry, Husband of Leslie, Stacy M. (Schlear) McDaniel, Wife of Allen, Christian A. Kimmel, Husband of Brandy, Veronica N ( Kimmel ) Spink, wife of Robert, & Roxanne B. (Kimmel) Trochesfett, wife of Adam. Megan E. Bensinger, Michael T. & Kyle J. Stephens  and 9  Great Grandchildren. He was looking forward to his 10th Great Grandchild in August of this year.

Preceded in death by  4 brothers    Harry, Fredrick, Roy,  and  Harold Bensinger and 5 sisters   Helen Lukens-Steinert-Dubendorf , Marie Miller, Martha Yoder, Bertha Schropp, Ruth M. Kamp

Religious Services will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg,  at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 19th,  with Rev.  Lee A. Diefenderfer officiating. Family and Friends are invited to call from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral Home.

Interment Services will be held at Drehersville Evangelical Cemetery Inc.
