Arthur Howard Heffner, 48, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, October 2nd, surrounded by family in his home .
Arthur was born in Reading on January 29, 1975, a son of Barbara Ann (Miller) Heffner and the late Theodore Howard Heffner.
He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Schuylkill Haven.
He helped run the family business, Haven Hardware, in Schuylkill Haven, until his father's health declined. He was an avid golfer and was instrumental in organizing the golf team at Schuylkill Haven High School. He very much enjoyed sports and hunting.
In addition to his mother Barbara, Arthur is survived by a daughter, Crysta Grace Heffner and son,Kaleb Michael Heffner. Arthur is also survived by his companion April Killian and godmother, Janet Derr, wife of Robert, and his godfather Orin Anderson, husband of Pat. Also surviving Arthur are his two dogs Tipper & Deisel. He was predeceased by his infant sister Crystal Jean Heffner.
A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Thursday October 12th at St. James Episcopal Church, 100 Dock Street, Schuylkill Haven, with Father Kurt Kovalovich officiating. A memorial gathering will begin at 11:00 AM in the church.
