Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Kimmel, 83, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, December 23rd, at Weston Senior Living Center, in Orwigsburg.

Barbara was born in Orwigsburg, on February 11, 1933, a daughter of the late Margaret (Bensinger) and George   Yeager.

She was the wife of Gerald "Shep" R.  Kimmel. They married September 17th, 1955.She graduated from Orwigsburg High School in 1950, and The Reading Hospital Nursing School in 1953 and was employed as a Registered Nurse and worked for Rest Haven Nursing Home for over 20 years.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Orwigsburg, as well as the Orwigsburg Lionettes and the Reading Hospital Nursing Alumni Association.

In addition to her husband "Shep" of 61 years, Barbara is also survived by three daughters, Kathy M., wife of Raymond Metz,

Carol K., wife of Dennis Gordon

Joanne S.  Wife of Ronald Steranko,

A son, G.  Robert Kimmel Jr., husband of Adrienne Conforti.

Barbara is also survived by 8 Grandchildren Laura, Emily, Alicia, Margaret, Victoria, Kathryn, Grayling, and Finn. She was predeceased by brothers Lawrence Bensinger & Cyler Lupo and an infant sister Vickie Lynn.A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 27th at St. John's United Church of Christ in Orwigsburg.

Friends are invited to call on Monday evening, from 6-8 PM December 26th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.  Friends are also invited to call from 10:00 am until time of service in the Church on Tuesday.
