BARBARA I. PEIFLEY , 68, of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Village Road, Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, May 29th, while in the company of family members, at her home in TX

Born in Shennadoah, PA on December 7, 1946, a daughter of the late Dorothy I. (Kline ) and John P. Burkey .

She was the widow of William (Bill)  J. Peifley. Passed away October 26th, 2007.She was a 1964 Blue Mountain Graduate , and attended Penn State , She then graduated from Central Texas Collage

She was employed and retired as a Care Manager at Schuylkill County Senior Services, Schuylkill County Agency for Aging

Barbara is survived by

a daughter, Kristi R. Wolfe

a son,Erik V. , husband of Ashley Wolfe & grandson Miles Wolfe

a sister, Dorothy E. Murphy

two brothers, John P. , husband of Donna Burkey & Rev. Robert husband of Mary Burkey, nieces & nephews,  cousins & her faithful Companion Baxter, her Dog

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Welcome United Methodist Church, Landingville, PA, on June 19th, 2015, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Susan Wollyung  officiating In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Attn.: Tribute Program P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148 or Welcome United Methodist Church, Children's Ministry, Main Street, Landingville, PA 17972.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap VA National Cemetery
