Barbara M. Szeferski, 92, formerly of Orwigsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday at Schuylkill Center.

Born in Orwigsburg, Jan. 29, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Earl Campbell and Sara Anna Leymeister Campbell Bair.

Barbara was raised in the Protestant faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Szeferski; son, John E. "Jack" Szeferski; brother, Elmer "Rocky" Bair; sisters, Arlene and her husband, Percy "Mose" Wessner, and Margaret "Peggy" Wehr.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Kathleen Gubala, Bloomsburg; grandsons, Joseph R. Charters, husband of Tammy, Friedensburg, and Thomas E. Charters, husband of Heather, Ringtown; granddaughter, Cynthia J., wife of Glen Stook, Bloomsburg; great-granddaughter, Shelby Charters, Friedensburg; great-grandsons, Baily Charters, Friedensburg, Thomas Charters Jr., Ringtown, and Sawyer Stook, Bloomsburg; sisters, Ruth, widow of Bernard Moore, Ohio, and Rose, wife of Lewis Moyer, Denver, Colo.; brother-in-law, William Wehr, widower of Margaret "Peggy," Orwigsburg; sister-in-law, Margaret, widow of Elmer "Rocky" Bair, Orwigsburg; nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of family. Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
