Blanche Rehrig, 89, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, December 7th, at Schuylkill Center - Genesis Healthcare.

Blanche was born in Kaska, PA on May 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Arthur & Maybelle (Stone) Russell.

She was the widow of John L. Rehrig. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Orwigsburg. She attended Pottsville High School and was a Folder for the former Leininger Knitting Mill in Orwigsburg. Blanche is survived by her daughter, Donna L. Lenarz, wife of Bob, of Pottsville, PA. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces & Nephews

She was predeceased by her son John M. (Zip) Rehrig , 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She is the last of her immediate family.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 12th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating. Friends are invited to the funeral home from 9:30 until time of service for visitation with the family. Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.
