Dale C. (Casey) Gauker, 72, of North Manheim Township, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, Berks County.
Born in Pottsville, Jan. 8, 1942, he was a son of the late Arlys M. Berger and William Aaron Gauker.
He was the husband of Deborah Moyer Gauker. They were married Sept. 25, 1988.
He grew up on the family dairy farm, Twin Hill, where he worked his whole life. In addition to the farm, he worked as a brick mason for Cresswell Brothers and also worked for the Trylon Corp. out of Elverson, where he traveled worldwide as a tower painter.
A graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1959, he was a 2013 inductee to the Blue Mountain All Sports Hall of Fame.
He was a member of Bethany Christian Fellowship Church in Cressona.
In addition to his wife of 25 years, Deborah Moyer Gauker, he is survived by three sons, Troy C. Gauker, husband of Carol Gauker, Schuylkill Haven, Christian T. Gauker, Pottsville, and Dennis C. Gauker and his partner, Amanda, Cressona; a daughter, Trish A. Gauker, Saint Clair; a granddaughter, Nicole A., wife of Adam Tranquillo, Vicenza, Italy; a grandson, Christian C. Gauker, Pottsville.
Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the religious service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
