Darlene M. Schrader, 67, of Port Carbon, formerly of Auburn, passed away peacefully Saturday at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.Born in Pottsville, April 15, 1948, she was a daughter of Helen M. Long Schrader and the late Arlin W. Schrader.She was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School.She was a member of Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, and Auburn Fire Company and VFW.Darlene enjoyed puzzles, crafts and bingo, and was a dedicated Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan.In addition to her mother, Helen, Darlene is survived by two sisters, Nancy Schrader and Mary Ann Varnes and her companion, Joe Reynolds, all of Cochranville; a brother, Joseph A. Schrader, husband of Shannon, Pottsville; nieces, nephews and great-nephews.Religious services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Family and friends are invited to call from 1 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
