Darlene S. Werner, 67, of Auburn, passed away Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street. Born in Lenhartsville, July 10, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Emma Kline Hess. Darlene was the wife of Luther F. Werner. They married July 15, 1967.She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1966 and worked at Quakermaid Kitchens, Leesport, for 20 years and also Power Packaging, Tuckerton, for more than 10 years. In addition to her husband of 48 years, Luther, Darlene is also survived by her son, Scott L., husband of Maria Werner, Orwigsburg; daughter, Stacy L. Oswald, Danville; grandson, Kevin Scott Werner; granddaughter, Laura Ashley Werner; sisters, Mary Alice Corell and Sister Mae Huber. She was preceded by her sister, Helen Reigel; her brothers, Fred, Junior and Gene Hess. Services are private at the convenience of family.
