DOROTHY  H.  HILLJE , 81, of McKeansburg, PA, passed away  Friday, March 18th,  at Schuylkill Medical Center - South Jackson Street, Pottsville.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 5, 1934,Daughter of the late Henry & Anna (Bahrenberg ) Thoden.

She was the wife of Harold  H.  Hillje. They married on October 3rd, 1970

Early in life she worked as a legal secretary on wall street, before leaving to become a homemaker and raise her family.

She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in  New Ringgold.

In addition to her husband Harold, of 45 Years, Dorothy  is also  survived by

her two sons  Kevin , husband of  Ellen  Hillje,  & Michael  C. , husband of  Rebecca  Hillje,  her Daughter  Lee Anne Hillje , and a grandson  Ryan  Hillje

She was preceded by her sisters Florence & Elanor

A Religious Service will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday March 24th,  with Rev. Kenneth T. Melber, Jr. officiating.

Friends are invited to call   Thursday Morning from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Interment at Christ  Union Cemetery, Mckeansburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241.
