Dorothy Ann Reber, 83, of Lantern Green Way, Orwigsburg, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday at Orwigsburg Center.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, Feb. 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mary Deibert Freeman.

She was the wife of Russell E. Reber. They were married Nov. 19, 1949.

Dorothy was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1948, and a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven.

She was employed as a bank teller and also at the Winn Ann Factory in Schuylkill Haven.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, Russell, are her son, Russ Jr., husband of Caroline Reber; two grandsons, Christopher and Thomas Reber; her sister, Lynn, wife of Edward Hess; and brother, Irvin Freeman.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Friends are invited to visit with Dorothy's family from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
