Esther Violet Greenzweig, 93, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, December 16th, at her residence.   Esther was born in New Ringgold on January 12, 1928, a daughter of the late Bertha (Hafer ) Hess and Amandus  Hess .   She was the widow of Alvin  D.  Greenzweig .

She was a past member of Christ Church McKeansburg.  She was a homemaker throughout her lifetime.

Esther is  survived by her son Glenn T.  Greenzweig of Orwigsburg,  grandson Benjamin Greenzweig, husband of Katie, great granddaughters  Gabrielle and Meredith Greenzweig as well as daughter-in-law Patricia Greenzweig.

She was preceded in death  by her son Larry J. Greenzweig and nine siblings

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park.
