Florence R. Tobias, 77, of Trenton, Fla., formerly of Drehersville, died Sunday at Ayers Health & Rehabilitation Center, Trenton.Born in Lewistown Valley, June 3, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Donald W. and Anna M. Hosler Becker.She was the widow of Ronald H. Tobias.Florence was employed as a machine operator at Cressona Knitting, Cressona, for seven years before retiring in August of 2005.She is survived by four daughters, Nancy L. Linchorst, Bell, Fla., Bonnie S., wife of William Reynolds, Schuylkill Haven, Brenda L. Minnich, Berwick, and Robin A., wife of Scott Graff, Hamburg; a son, Keith G., husband of Tina Minnich, Orwigsburg; two stepdaughters, Catherine D., widow of Leslie Kriner, Auburn, and Sally R., wife of Harold S. Miller Jr., Auburn; a stepson, Ronald H. Tobias, Pottsville; a sister, Donna L. Trankle, Pottsville; 11 grandchildren; step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren.A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
