GARY  J.  ZERBE , 75, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, August 29th, peacefully, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born in Tremont,  on May 19, 1940, a son of the late Ora  (Graeff ) and Joseph   Zerbe .

He was the husband of Marilyn  M.  (Herb ) Zerbe . They married on June 5th, 1965

He was of the Lutheran Faith   and a Graduate of Tremont High School

Gary was employed as a Plumber at Miller's Plumbing & Heating Company and was a site supervisor for the Schuylkill County Municipal Authority

He served in the US Army Reserves and was a Member of Tremont Masonic Lodge , Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Member of Schuylkill County Football Hall of Fame. Gary also served on Tremont Borough Council and was Past President.

In Addition to his wife, of 50 years,  Gary  is  also survived by

two sons Attorney Joseph G.. , husband of  Kelly J. Zerbe , of Orwigsburg, PA; David  A. , husband of  Christine M. Zerbe , of Eagleville, PA;

GARY  is also survived by his grandchildren Mason , Taylor, Morgan, Tiffany, Sydney and Jillian Zerbe. His brother Robert Zerbe and Brother-in-law William Ochs.

He was preceded by siblings JoAnn & Jerry

Religious Service at Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., Orwigsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1st. Friends are invited to call   Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service at    11:00 at the Funeral home. Interment will follow at  Zion's Red Church Cemetery  Orwigsburg.
