Gilbert J. Beury, 65, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Tuesday, December 27th, at his residence, with his loving wife Sylvia at his side.

He was born in Pottsville, on January 8, 1957, a son of the late Marie (Tobias) and Gilbert Beury.

Gilbert and his wife Sylvia A. (Saurazas) Beury were married May 8, 2004.

In addition to his wife, Gilbert is survived by his step son Cory Laguna, husband of Nicole & their daughter Alyea Laguna. He is also survived by siblings Richard Beury; Linda Montone, wife of Jerry; Susan Vidal, Kay Ann Jobrey; Jodi Palsgrove and nieces & Nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Joanne Horning and David Pickard.

Gilbert worked as a Supervisor for M & Q Packaging and also was employed with Gilford Chemical. Gilbert was well known in the area. He enjoyed shooting pool and belonged to the North Ward Social Club and he was a past member of the former Tremont Clubsters.

Private services were entrusted to Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.
