Grace Thelma Cresswell, 98, formerly of East Market Street, Orwigsburg, died peacefully Wednesday at Orwigsburg Center-Genesis Healthcare.

Born in Frackville, Feb. 26, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Levi Oscar and Laura Everett Reed.

She was the widow of Wilbert Leslie Cresswell.

A 1934 graduate of Frackville High School, she was a homemaker for her family.

Grace was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Schuylkill Haven.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Oscar E. Reed; sister, Ruth McFadden, and infant sister, Dorothy Reed.

Surviving are a daughter, Darlene G., wife of Gerald Zoccola, Easton; two sons, Dale R. Cresswell and his companion, Carol Metzler, Schuylkill Haven, and David C. Cresswell, husband of Linda, Saint Clair; family friend, Denise Philips; six grandchildren, Jodi Lee Seigfried, Kevin Dale Cresswell, David Benjamin Cresswell, Jill Suzanne Sonday, Jessica Lee Zoccola and Jarrad Joseph Zoccola; and six great-grandchildren, James, Levi, Isaac, Sadie, Jasmine and Alex.

Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Interment services will take place in Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church Of Nazarene, 220 W. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
