Guy E. Teter, 78, of New Ringgold, passed away peacefully Sunday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.Born in New Ringgold, Sept. 5, 1937, he was a son of the late Jonathan E. and Sarah Pfeiffer Teter.He was the husband of Marion E. Ganly Teter, who passed away Sept. 23, 2010.He was raised in the Protestant faith.Guy was a truck driver and jockey for many years and retired from Super Valu Inc., formerly Wetterau Food Service, Reading.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Breiner, and half sister, Grace Bittner.Guy is survived by two daughters, Brenda L., wife of Kermit Kunkle, and Bonnie L. Teter; two sons, Bruce E. Teter and Barry P. Teter; granddaughter, Michelle L. Kunkle; brother, George Teter, all of New Ringgold; a sister, Dolores Stump, Schuylkill Haven.A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Robert W. Burkey officiating. Friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
