Helen M. Eckert, 88, of New Ringgold, entered into God's care Friday at her residence.

Born in New Ringgold, May 18, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Martha Grube Eckert.

She worked as a folder at the former Sylray Underwear Co., Orwigsburg.

Helen was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Ringgold.

Surviving are two nieces, Carol A., wife of Harry B. Schneider, Reading, and Marilyn, wife of Sam Farragto, Ohio; two nephews, Dr. Robert Eckert, husband of Nancy, Mohnton, and John Eckert, husband of Kim, Auburn.

Religious gravesite services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Cemetery with the Rev. James C. Covert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Friedens Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 21 Mill Mountain Road, R.R. Box 65, New Ringgold, PA 17960. Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, has been entrusted with arrangements.
