Janet S. Bensinger, 81, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, January 2nd, at her residence.

Born in Pottsville, PA on January 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Nabor) Harron and Malcolm  Harron.

She was the wife of Norman  Bensinger. The married March 16th, 1991

Janet graduated from Pottsville High School in 1956

And she worked as a Trimmer for both Schuylkill Haven Casket Companies.

She was a past member of Eastern Star and she was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

In addition to Norman her husband of 25 years, Janet is survived by

Two daughters, Deborah C. (Starr) Moyer, wife of David & Sharon L. (Starr) Bigger, wife of Steven

Two sons Kevin M. Starr, husband of Joan (Bender) and Bryan D. Starr

Stepsons Todd Bensinger, husband of Megan, Glen Bensinger, Husband of Carleen & Norman Bensinger.  Stepdaughter Bonnie, wife of David Davis. 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren. Cousin Merle (Hasenaver) Amos

She was predeceased by her son John David Starr II and daughter Linda Elizabeth Starr. 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and her sister Martha Jenkins.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, January 10th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA. Friends are invited to call from 9:30 until time of service.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.
