Jean M. Carney, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, Pa., formerly Deer Lake, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 7th, at her residence. .

Born in Orwigsburg, Pa. on September 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Helen I. (Long ) and Arnold L.H. Moyer .

She was the widow of Thomas F. Carney he passed away in April of 1993.

She was a 1953 Graduate of Auburn High School and attended Ford Business School

She was the Owner and Operator of The Print Shop, located in Orwigsburg from 1976 to 1989. Jean retired due to her husband's Health. She also worked for the Schuylkill Haven Borough as a Secretary from 1955 to 1970.

Jean is survived by her son, Scott Arnold Carney, of Schuylkill Haven and also survived by her Aunt & Uncle , Florence & Edwin Boltz as well as numerous cousins.

Interment services will follow at St. John's UCC Cemetery Auburn, PA.
