Jean P. Schaeffer, 95, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, December 11th, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.

Jean was born in East Brunswick Township, on October 8, 1922, a daughter of the late Eva Kershner and Howard Dennis.

She was the widow of James Elwood Schaeffer.

Jean was a very devoted Christian and was active in her church, Christ Church Mc Keansburg, before her health declined.

Jean is survived by her loving daughter, Lana J. Schaeffer, of Orwigsburg.

She is also survived by her Cousins, Nieces & the family Cat, Mick

She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Kriner, Evelyn Heisler and an infant daughter Beatrice.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 18th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, PA with Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating. Friends are invited to call from 9:30 AM until service.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
