Joan D. Moyer, 86, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, May 29th, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.

Joan was born in Orwigsburg, PA on June 13, 1930, a daughter of the late Sadie (DeLong) and Paul Heiser.

She was the widow of Russell R. Moyer.

Joan worked as a Floor Lady at Fessler Knitting Mill, Orwigsburg and

she was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven. She was proud to be a Gold Star Mother

Joan is survived by

two daughters, Bonnie L., wife of  Bob Edwards, Summit Station, PA; Pat E., wife of  Bill DeNardi, Kansas City, KS; her son, Richard L. Moyer, husband of  Debbie, Cressona, PA; Three sisters, Marion Foose, Betty Sadusky & Mary Kutz.

6 Grandsons and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son David, brother Paul and an infant sister.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 5th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.

Friends are invited to call from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Kimmels Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
