John L. (Jack) McCormick, Jr., 80, of Orwigsburg, formerly of New Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, December 5th, at Orwigsburg Center - Genesis Healthcare. Jack was born in Auburn, on March 23, 1937, a son of the late Katie Leiby. He was the widower of Fern M. (Hettinger) McCormick, and graduate of Auburn High School. Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was self employed as an Auto Body Painter. Jack is survived by his step son, Phillip J. Harley; Grandchildren Brendan Harley, and Caitlin Harley. Two sisters-In-Law Darlene, wife of Delbert Miller, and Alice, wife of Clair Schleicher. Services are private at the convenience of family, and entrusted to Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.
