John H. Wingle, 93, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 6th, while in the company of family, at Orwigsburg Center - Genesis Healthcare, Orwigsburg.

John was born in Cressona, PA on June 6, 1924, a son of the late Mildred Knarr and Thomas Leo Wingle.

He was the husband of Anna Mae (Camodeca) Wingle. They were married on August 8th, 1947.

John served in the U.S. Army in WW II and earned his Purple Heart.

He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for the former Alcoa plant in Cressona. He retired in 1977. John was a Life Member of the DAV & VFW. He was also a Member of the American Legion, Rainbow Hose Company and the Alcoa 25 year Club.

In Addition to Anna Mae, his wife of 70 years, he is survived by his daughter Donna Rosenberger, wife of Eugene, of Lititz; Grandson Matthew Rosenberger, husband of Heather, of Lititz; Two brothers, Thomas, widower of Beatrice Wingle, of Schuylkill Haven; Earl, husband of Kathy Wingle, of Schuylkill Haven. Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded by brothers Paul & Gerald Wingle & his sister Betty Bello. John will have a Graveside Service, with Military Honors, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA, at the convenience of the family.
