Jonathan Ira Walborn, 75, of Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, November 19th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, Allentown. Born in Pottsville, on June 21, 1942, he was the son of the late Frances (Erb) and Jonathan M. Walborn. He was the widower of Joyce F. (Fisher) Walborn. Jon was a 1960 Graduate of Blue Mountain High School and the Class President. He Graduated college from Gettysburg University in 1964. Jon owned and operated his Family business, The Walborn Insurance Agency, Orwigsburg. He was a member of The NRA- Golden Eagle, Masonic Lodge #138, Orwigsburg, St. Paul's Lutheran Church Orwigsburg and the Pine Valley Sportsman's Club. Jon is survived by his daughter, Cheryl, wife of Dr. Neil Belman, of Allentown, and his son, Michael J. Walborn, husband of Monica, of Orwigsburg. Grandchildren are Kaylyn, Luca, Julius, Samuel and Delaney Walborn. In addition to his wife Joyce, and Parents, Jon was preceded in death by his son Craig M. Walborn on March 6th, 1981 and granddaughter Frances Elaine Walborn, on August, 27th, 2002. Services are private and will be at the convenience of family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Cancer Center, Patient Fund, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015, in Jon's memory.
