Leatrice A. (Lea) Artz, 90, of Orwigsburg formerly of Rausch Road New Ringgold, passed away Thursday, March 1st, at Orwigsburg Center.

Leatrice was born in McKeansburg, on February 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Eva M. (Jones) and William H. Mimm. She was the widow of Ralph H. Artz and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Pottsville and a 50 year member of Eastern Star Orwigsburg Chapter, #424. She graduated from Tamaqua High School & attended Temple University.

She was employed as an X-Ray Technician at Pottsville Hospital. Lea also worked as a Hostess for the former Wedgewood Restaurant.

Leatrice is survived by her Sisters – In-Law Janet Mimm & Doris Stanton and her Brothers - in- Law Robert & Ronald Artz and also numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her Brother William Mimm.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 9th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Memorial Gathering from 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Christ Union Cemetery McKeansburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Trinity Lutheran Church Elevator Fund, 3rd. and Arch Streets Pottsville, PA 17901.
