Margaret Lorraine (Peggy) Hoy, 87, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Wednesday, April 11th, at Rosewood Nursing Home. Margaret was born in Philadelphia (Manayunk) on November 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Ruth (Angstadt) and George McCleary. She was a member of Christ Church McKeansburg where she sang in the choir and until 2017 was the director of the monthly soup kitchen. She was a graduate of Kutztown High School. Peggy was a gifted server at many eating establishments in the area.

She is survived by a daughter, Reverend Sunny L. Stock, wife of John,

two sons Terry L. Snyder, husband of Donna, and Gary L Miller, husband of Judy, a brother, Ronald Rhode, husband of Mary Ann, Grandchildren Ian and Greg Stock, Steven Miller, Amanda Miller Bish, Brian Deter, Geoff and Mark Stoner and Cheyanne Stevens. Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by brother Albert, sisters Hilma, Betty Jane and Suzanne.

A celebration of life service will be held at Christ Church, McKeansburg on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11 AM, visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
