Marian L. Schwenk, 90, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, January 14th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Marian was born in Pinedale, PA on April 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Ada M. (Ketner) and John J. Ernst.

She was the widow of Robert P. Schwenk, Jr.

Marian was a member of Zion's Red Church Orwigsburg, and she was also the School pianist for the church.

She graduated from Auburn High School and worked as an Aide Supervisor for Hamburg State Hospital for many years.

After Marian's retirement her family came first. She enjoyed her garden flowers, bingo, singing and her visits to Schaffer's Harley-Davidson.

She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #424, Past Regent of Ft. Lebanon, Chapter DAR, Orwigsburg and a Life Member of Penna. Congress of Parents and Teachers.

Marian is survived by her two sons Roger A. Schwenk, husband of Mary Theresa, of Emmaus and James R. Schwenk, widower of Debra of Breinigsville.

She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.

Marian was predeceased by her brothers William T. and J. Marlin Ernst

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Kenneth T. Melber, Jr. officiating. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 10:45 AM

Friends are invited to call 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday Evening, January 18th at the Funeral Home and also on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion's Red Church 1287 Centre Turnpike, PO Box 334 Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Interment will be in Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
