Marie Yurenko, 85, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Thursday, June 21st, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.

Marie was born in West Brunswick Township on September 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Mary (Guzy) Yurenko and Frank Yurenko.

She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church. She worked as a Machine Operator.

Marie is survived by two sisters, Helen, wife of John Thomas, of Pottsville, and Irene, widow of Marlin Kramer, of Orwigsburg. She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Harry, Peter and Andrew Yurenko and a sister Anna Baltzer. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A religious service will be held at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., on Monday, June 25, at 11 AM, with Rev Ted Rathman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service.

Interment will be held in Drehersville Evangelical Cemetery.
