Marion Louise Gideon, 91, of Manheim, passed away Thursday, April 30th, at Pleasantview Retirement community.

Marion was born in South Manheim Township on July 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Stella Mae (Reichert) and Paul Chistian Brown. She was the widow of Donald W. Gideon. She was employed as a Technical Information Assistant for the food & drug administration.

She was a 1952 graduate of Orwigsburg High School. She loved to travel, enjoyed puzzles and was in the quilting group at St. Paul's.

She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Adamstown, PA.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Rev. Sandra L. Gideon and son, Kenneth Gideon, husband of Kelly; grandchildren Michael (Alyssa), Christian and Rebecca Gideon, Maigan Hoover (Tyler), Stephanie Wheeler, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Ernest Brown.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 on Friday, May 8th at Schuylkill Memorial Park, in the garden of the Apostles section, with Pastor Chris Rothharpt officiating.
