In loving memory of Marion S. (Faust) Leiby, 83, of Minersville, who passed away Saturday, January 8th, at Seton Manor.
Marion was born in Pottsville on December 29, 1938, the daughter of Leon and Mildred (Leymeister) Faust. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, Guy and Dorothy Faust.
She was a member of Zion's Red Church in Orwigsburg, and she worked as a dietitian at Rest Haven nursing home. She was a very caring and loving person. She always gave to others, more than she had for herself. Marion's grandchildren and family meant everything to her.
Marion is survived by two daughters, Donna, wife of David DiRenzo, and Faith Strause, and a son David Leiby.
Marion was the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, Heather Boyer, Nicholas Leiby, Nichole Phillips, Erica Boyer, Tyrone Leiby, Amanda Sterling, Tasha Taylor,and Joshua DiRenzo, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon and Harry Faust.
A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 14th, at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Walter Breiner officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM.
Interment will be at Zion's Red Church Cemetery in Orwigsburg.
