Mary Jeanette Foltz, 85, of Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday at York Terrace Golden Living Center, Pottsville.

Born in Philadelphia, July 29, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Davies Shearn.

She was the widow of Donald F. Foltz.

She was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper at the former Robert Smith Carpet Co., Schuylkill Haven, and retired in 1980. She had also worked part-time for Schaner Real Estate for a short time.

Mary was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Orwigsburg, Eastern Star, Lionettes and Business and Professional Women.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Martin and Doris Boyer; and brothers, Charles "Curley" and Victor Shearn.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra L., wife of Dean Knott, Auburn; a son, Marty J. Foltz, Hialeah, Fla.; a grandson, Andrew D. Knott, husband of Angela, Auburn; and a brother-in-law, Richard Foltz.

Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Lou Hornberger officiating.

Friends are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
