Mary L. Knott, 80, of 255 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven, passed away Feb. 26 while visiting her son at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, April 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Roy C. and Grace George Yost.

She was employed as a floor lady at the former Onyx Blouse Co., Orwigsburg. She was also employed by and retired in 1998 from REDCO Corp., where she was a mental health homemaker.

She was the widow of William H. Knott.

She was also preceded in death by her life partner, Russel R. Boyer; son, Robert J.Knott; brother, Roy Yost; and stepbrother, Darryl Yost.

Surviving are her sons, the Rev. William H. Knott, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and David R., Sunnyvale, Calif.; stepdaughter, Gail A. Blasko, Tamaqua; granddaughters, Molly Ann Knott, Sunnyvale, Calif., Mary E., wife of Brent Setlock, Pottsville, and Heather C., wife of James Leonard, Minersville; great-granddaughters, Rebbekah L. Setlock, Pottsville, Emma J. Leonard, Minersville, Rachael M. Setlock, Pottsville, and Katrina M. Quinn, Minersville; great-grandsons, Connor M. Quinn and Warren T. Quinn, both of Minersville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, when a celebration of Mary's life service will begin at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Interment will be in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Orwigsburg, at a later date.
