Phyllis L. Toback, 81, of Wayne Street, Orwigsburg, entered into God's care Thursday at Seton Manor Inc.

Born in Orwigsburg, June 10, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Minnie Rarick Seltzer.

She was the wife of Simon Toback, whom she married Nov. 24, 1972.

Phyllis was an avid reader and card player. She loved casinos, shopping and going to yard sales.

She was a sewing machine operator at Fesslers Knitting Mill, Orwigsburg, for 49 years. She started at 16 and retired at 65.

She was a graduate of Orwigsburg High School.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, and also American Legion 369 Ladies Auxiliary and Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Fulmer; and brother, Gerald Seltzer.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 41 years, are her daughter, Susan M., widow of Robert Zeird, Rome, Ga.; grandson, Adam R. Zeird, Rome, Ga.; granddaughter, Jessica L., wife of Michael Weiderhold, Orwigsburg; stepdaughters, Jerri A., widow of Jay Rae, Orwigsburg, Marie E., wife of Ronald Blew, Orwigsburg, and Ann L., wife of Stephen Markowicz, New Ringgold; and brother, Ralph Seltzer Jr., husband of Deloris, New Ringgold.

Religious services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Monsignor Edward S. Zemanik officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment services will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
