Ralph E. Martin, 100, of Orwigsburg, passed away comfortably on Wednesday, August 12th.

Ralph was born in Chambersburg, PA on June 25, 1926, a son of the late Grace and Isaac Martin.

He was the widower of Helen (Katchmark) Martin.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg.  Ralph  worked as a heavy equipment operator building roads including the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  He worked for Robert J. Bazley and Eastern Industries.    He loved to hunt deer when he was able and enjoyed gardening and maintaining his beautiful property.. His family was very important to him.

Ralph is  survived by two daughters, Doreen Korell, wife of  Glen, of Orwigsburg; Debra Trubilla, wife of Charles of Orwigsburg, and a son,Timothy Martin, husband of Jacquie;   grandchildren Jason, Erin, Sheena and Matthew, as well as four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by two brothers, Herbert Martin, husband of Donna and Arthur Martin, husband of Karen.

He was predeceased by his son Roland Martin and grandson Bryan Smith and brother Carl Martin.

A Religious Service will be held at 11  AM on Monday, August 17th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Orwigsburg,  with Rev. Michael Petresky officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM in the church.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.
