Rebecca "Becky" Lengel, 95, of Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, May 3rd, at Geisinger St. Luke's, Orwigsburg.

Becky was born in Orwigsburg, Pa. on November 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Laura (Shoup) and Herman Folk.

She was the widow of Norman F. Lengel who passed away in 2021.

Becky was a member of Congregational Free Church of Christ, Orwigsburg, and was a graduate of Orwigsburg High School, class of 1948. She graduated from Kutztown University in 1952 with a Bachelors degree in teaching. She worked as a elementary school teacher at Hamburg Elementary School and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Orwigsburg Chapter, #424 and the BPW/PA, Business Professional Women's Club, Inc. She is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins

A Religious Service will be held at 10:15 AM on Saturday, May 9th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg,  with Rev. Jeffrey C. Stonesifer  officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 AM with an Eastern Star Service at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated made to either the Order of the Eastern Star, Orwigsburg Chapter, # 424 ,  Congregational Free Church of Christ , or Hillside SPCA.

Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
