Obituary

Robert L. (Bob) Hough , 76, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday, September 30th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Bob was born in Redstone Township, PA on January 22, 1940, a son of the late Susan Beattie and Franklin Hough.

He was the husband of Donna F. (Scheipe) Hough. They married February 22, 1964. He attended Redstone High School before Serving in the US Army and serving his country for 4 years.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church Orwigsburg, the AMVETs of Pottsville and the Orwigsburg American Legion. He was an avid Hunter and Pittsburg Steelers fan.

During his life, Bob worked as a Truck Driver for  Quakermaid Kitchens & also Penske for over 32years, After driving he reconditioned vehicles for J. Bertolet  Volkswagen of Orwigsburg

In addition to his wife, Donna , of 52 years, Bob is  survived by

two daughters, Diane F., wife of  Douglas Hughes, of Reading, PA;

Susan R., wife of  Richard Wessner, Auburn

6 Grandchildren,  Nicholas, Joshua & Zachary Hughes, Kyle, Jacob & Rebecca Wessner and 2 Great Granddaughters Olivia & Chloe Wessner . He is also survived by Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded by his sister Blanche Knupsky and brothers John, William & Gerald Hough.

A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 5th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.Orwigsburg,  with Pastor Steward  Warner officiating.

Friends are invited to call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening, October 4th at the funeral home &  also from  9:30 AM until time of service Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church 132 South Liberty Street  Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Interment , with military honors, at Schuylkill Memorial  Schuylkill Haven.
