Robert Jr. was the owner of Seltzer Group Insurance Company of Orwigsburg with

Offices also located in Schuylkill Haven and Pottsville.

He was a graduate of Blue Mountain Class of 1966. He played several sports

while attending Blue Mt.

He then attended Bullis Preparatory School , Potomac Maryland, in 1966/67 and played football while attending.

He received a scholarship to Pittsburgh University to play football as a lineman.

He graduated from Pitt in 1971 and joined the Seltzer Insurance Agency with his

father.

He continued his love of football by coaching Midgets for 6 years.

Bob loved History and was an avid reader of the topic.

He also loved learning and participated in many Insurance schools attaining prestigious

designations such as CIC, CWCA,CWCP,PWCA, CBWA and CHRS.

Seltzer Insurance joined Keystone Insurance Group in 1999 as a partner. The group

was in its infancy located in Danbury Pa and has grown to become a multi-state organization.  Bob was a key member of the board and the organization.

Bob's key charities were Special Olympics and he was a staunch supporter of the SPCA.

Bob is survived by sisters Johanna (Cookie) wife of Paul Zmuida, Diane wife of

John Mekelberg, Jane wife of Michael Leib, Elizabeth wife of Richard Driscoll,

uncle John Walborn, aunt Ruth Haeseler and nieces and nephews. He also considered all the employees of the Seltzer Group as his family.

Celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Faith Church, Rt. 61, Centre Turnpike Orwigsburg.Pa  on Friday January 6, 2016 at 1PM. Doors will open at noon.  Burial services will be private.
